Software you need

Operativsystem

For a built PC we recommend that you buy Windows XP. If ou buy Linux or BeOS you may find that they are not compatible with software applications and hardware components. Windows is also the most userfriendly program there is on the market. With only new components I would definately go for the Windows XP. This operating system is more or less compatible with all software and hardware. You only need to put the CD in and relax as most drivers are installed automatically.

Antivirus

A good antivirus program is a must for anyone connected to the Internet. Viruses are created everyday and can be a big threat to stored and important documents on your computer.

I would recommend Norton Antivirus 2005. This software continously search for viruses and protect your computer of potential threats.
