Install power to the components
The last thing before the first boot is to connect the power cables to the different components. The power cable for the CD-ROM and hard drive are exactly the same. There is only one way to connect them and it does not matter which power cable you put in the component.
The power outlet to the floppy is a bit more difficult to connect. Make sure you put it the right way. Usually takes a few tries.
