Buy computer components
There are many good places to buy computer components. A lot of people buy the components at a retail shop nearby their house. The advantage by doing it that way, is that it is very easy and if one of the components are defect, the swapping goes very smoothly. In recent years though, Internet commerce has become more and more popular. Internet firms provide components of lesser price (10-30%) and the selection is normally also much better. The computers we have built have always been consisting of components bought from the Internet. Most of the Internet firms provide very good customer service and cheaper prices. Trading over the Internet is easier, less time consuming and the selection far better than what you find in an average computer store. Usually, you can pay with VISA, Paypal, American Express or other major creditcards.
Some people purchase components from several different firms in order to push the price down. What many forget is that the freight costs also get higher. I would recommend to stick with not more than four different shops. Then you know who to consult if any problems arise. If you decide to buy over the Internet there are other factors to consider other than just the price. Customer service is important considering, support (online support, phone-support?), delivery time and selection. We have therefore listed a few firms that we guarantee provide what they
promise.
